Phil Lee
Devotion to the simplicity of life and Love of 67 years.
As told by Melissa (Tom) Lee
Mom and Dad could have been models for the traditional wedding cake topper of the happy bride and groom. Their long marriage was a testament to love, commitment, hard work, and family. It wasn’t a marriage built on material possessions, lavish vacations, or social status. It was based upon life’s simple pleasures, family traditions and events, connections with relatives on both sides, and interactions with a network of friends and neighbors.
I have many memories of a wonderful childhood growing up with my sisters in the community of Chico and of an adulthood full of family visits, celebrations, and gatherings in the big Lee house. Mom and Dad created a marriage based on love, caring, and generosity with the hallmarks of inclusivity and acceptance to all who knew and loved them.
They were married for 67 years and are together again.

Really miss Uncle Phil. Gone but not forgotten.
